Last year I was lucky enough to hear Anita Moorjani speak. She is the author of ‘Dying To Be Me’, a memoir which describes her cancer battle and the positive attitude which aided her recovery.
I found it particularly interesting hearing her Q&A session with the audience and after hearing her talk, I realised that we can all learn so much and so quickly in just a few minutes of face to face interaction.
Around the same time as hearing Anita’s talk, I was also thinking how I could offer my clients something other than traditional coaching, that would be a benefit for many people within the organisation, not just the leaders – something fairly low cost, but with high impact for those who are interested to learn from an expert.
Often, only the top tier of an organisation benefits from the opportunity to have a professional coach and others with the workplace are ‘left out’ of learning the sort of things that I work on with my clients e.g. self-mastery, leadership, career development and stress management.
With that in mind, I wanted to offer the opportunity for more people to benefit in a way that wasn’t disruptive to the working day, and at a lower cost than ongoing individual coaching would be.
My new Lunchtime Talks include 30 minutes of me discussing a key topic of interest in your organisation/department, followed by 30 minutes Q&A for those who want to learn more and quickly.
I’m hoping to connect with and inspire many more leaders and future leaders in organisations that may not be able to afford 1:1 coaching at all levels.
Some suggested topics could be:
- How can we get more done in less time?
- Finding your true purpose
- How to motivate a team
- Is there a better way to deal with stress?
Take the first step and contact me to discuss how you could make the most of your lunchtime. We can organise a quick call or Skype to set up a suitable time.
